Keith assumes responsibilities, including CM Principal, during all company operations phases. Through Keith’s guidance, Otte Construction has seen success and growth since his company purchase in 2012. As owner, he continues to be directly involved with all projects to guarantee the customer’s expectations are met. His strong communication skills and leadership set Otte Construction Company apart.

Tate has been with Otte Construction since May 2004. Tate has proven his ability to provide precise pricing for numerous projects, maintaining our company’s reputation for guaranteeing customers an accurate price. When customers receive pricing, they have assurance it includes the complete scope of their work. Tate’s abilities and careful deciphering of the drawings will ensure this project will be on budget.

Zach Moje

Zach has been with Otte Construction since May 2020. Previously, Zach worked at Carlson-West- Povondra Architects, providing construction administration services and working on projects ranging from $200,000 to $12,000,000. During his time there, he gained experience in design and building codes, specifically ADA requirements. Since joining Otte’s, he has led numerous projects, from new build to significant renovations for education, healthcare, and housing customers.  His careful attention to detail and problem-solving skills during the preconstruction and construction phase provided each customer with cost savings and on-site solutions.

Chris Moje

Chris returned to Otte Construction in 2021. During his previous employment in Lincoln, Nebraska, he effectively managed projects ranging from $500,000 to $5,000,000. Chris has proven to be adept in coordinating projects with particular attention to quality work while meeting the budget. He has a thorough construction process and scheduling knowledge and can effectively communicate these needs with the project team. His commitment to completing a project on time sets him apart from other superintendents.

Matt Nelson

Foreman & Finishing Carpenter

Matt has a degree from the University of Nebraska in Project Management. Matt has years of construction experience. Joining Otte Construction in 2020, Matt is responsible for on-site project management and day-to-day activities. He coordinates and executes the finishing carpentry of our key projects. His attention to detail, respect for timelines, and precision work have made him a great addition to the Otte team, and he will be a vital member of any project team.

About Us

Our History

In 1928, Karl Otte, Sr. began constructing homes in Northeast Nebraska and progressed into a commercial builder specializing in churches. In the late 1950s, three of Karl’s sons, Karl, Kurt, and Paul, followed in the same steps as their father as they assumed control of the company and maintained Otte Construction’s reputation for quality craftsmanship.

A third generation joined the company in 1994 to continue the family business as Karl, Kurt, and Paul neared retirement. Jeff Morlok purchased the company from his uncles and was joined by his cousin, Keith Moje, to help lead the company.

Keith became the owner of Otte Construction in April 2012. He is committed to preserving the excellent reputation synonymous with the Otte Construction name and is dedicated to the principles upon which Karl Sr. built the company: integrity, quality craftsmanship, and hard work.
